When it comes to online shopping… Forever 21 is my jam.
Strictly online though, because honestly, I have a panic attack just walking into that cluster f*ck of a store. Especially now that they made the stupid decision to turn all F21’s in department stores (ahem… you are NOT Macy*s, nor do you want to be). I am sorry, but no… I don’t want one of those large mesh bags digging into my wrist as I fill it up with clothes/shoes/accessories just so I can lug it up the escalator to wait in an hour line for the fitting rooms.
Sitting in my bed with a cup of tea & my dog cozied up next to me while I peruse the site on my own time, fill up my cart, & then weed out the things I don’t want sounds like a much more enjoyable shopping experience thank-you-very-much.
The main problem about online shopping is that you can get sidetracked & buy a bunch of shit you don’t want/ need. If you want to solidify your chances of actually liking the stuff that lands at your door (which you do, because shipping it back is a b-i-t-c-h), I suggest you A. read the reviews & B. send to a friend. The reviews are uber helpful & let you know how it fits/ how it’s made, & sending the links to a friend guarantees you aren’t making any bad decisions.
See below for what I have in my cart now, all of which are a Fall must (I.M.O.).
Get yo shop on ladies <3. xx, E
+ 1. Sorry, but overalls are out. Overall dresses on the other hand, I am all about it.
+ 2. Feeling those gypsy vibes with his navy blue velvet turban.
+ 3. Shaggy faux fur vests are the perfect way to spice up a dull look- just make sure they don’t look cheap & make sure the fur is on the back too (<—- HATE when they only do the front in fur).
+ 4. Loving this modern day chic bolo tie necklace.
+ 5. I have a belt-fetish for sure, & this rocker inspired belt needs to join my collection stat.
+ 6. Ummm… seriously? This fringe leather jacket look like a million bucks. Need. Now.
+ 7. It’s Fall- so I finally have an excuse to buy as many jackets as my bank account will let me. This leather sleeved trench is so (in the words of Rachel Zoe) MAJ.
+ 8. Fingerless gloves, no questions asked, every girl needs a pair.
+ 9. I used to love pointy flats back in highschool, but like all things, they went out of style. Now, they’re back. I am still getting used to the idea- yet I think I may start with these little beauts.
P.S. Sorry, but if you like any other color than black, this may not be the shopping post for you. LOL.
Haha I LOVE this – I’m the same way! I wrote a post about it a few months ago. I love the pieces you have in your bag though!
x abigail, the fabulous life of a natural disaster
Thanks babe :))))
I am so glad I am not the only one that struggles actually going into this store. I get so overwhelmed! Those flats are adorable though! I could drop some serious money at this store.

I know right- soooo overwhelming. The online shopping is just so much more relaxing ;) although yes… I do spend too much at F21. It’s just so easy to justify when everything is so cheap$$
That fringe leather jacket!!!!! Need. I have a jacket & coat problem. It’s my boomerang buy… even if I don’t need them, I find myself buying them. But I did recently lose my fave leather jacket, so I think it’s time to replace it with a new trendy version like that ;)
I agree :) I always make some sort of reason to buy things…
lady you are right on about everything in this post (per usu). i get anxiety too stepping foot into that store, i feel like i don’t even know where to begin (it’s like a menu with too many choices) and then i get scared i’m going to miss something and ay yai yai! online is the best route and i read every review when i go to buy something!
I hate hate hate menus with too many choices- it makes me nuts, & yes- F21 is just like that! Too much. All about the online sprees.
Yes, that fringe leather jacket is in the words of Giuliana Rancic, “amaze-balls” :) haha
