This past weekend my best friend/sister from another mister/college roommate (we shared a room for 4 years, by choice) got hitched & it was seriously the cutest wedding of all time.
Pinterest, get ready to be jealous…
She got married in the little town of Goleta (right outside Santa Barbara) at the Rancho La Patera Stow House, a historical ranch with the most amazing rustic vibe. By far the most picture perfect wedding venue I’ve ever seen! The theme was very boho chic with babies breath, mason jars galore, burlap, & splashes of yellow. We ate from a delicious barbecue food truck, had caramel corn & miniature blueberry chardonnay cupcakes for dessert, & one of my personal highlights– the wedding party came down the aisle to an instrumental version of a Beyoncé song (so winning).
For our weekend trip we stayed at The Goodland, which was by far one of the raddest hotels I have ever stayed at. When we first got there and saw the retro Airstream & vintage Woody parked out front, I knew it was gonna be good.
It had a very Palm Springs in the 60’s thing going on with bright colors, eclectic decor, succulents + ivy everywhere, & a whole lot of #ihavethisthingwithfloor moments. Our room was just as cute, complete with black & white tapestries, a lime green record player, & Bertoia chairs (my fave!!) on our quaint poolside patio.
When we first got there we snacked on yummy lemon zest Kale chips, sipped Rose (per usual), played cornhole on the lawn, & lounged by the pool before heading to the rehearsal. When we got home, to our delight, the hotel had set up an outdoor movie with tons of beanbags on the lawn. We watched from our patio, but the next day we definitely took a post-wedding/pre-reception cat nap in the sun on those comfy beanbags (weddings are EXHAUSTING!).
Sunday we wrapped things up w/ delicious brunch at the hotel with some friends before hitting the road, & the food was on fleek– fresh orange juice mimosas, gluten free buckwheat pancakes, oyster hash, & chia pudding. It was uhhmazing. If you are ever in Santa Barbara– you’ve got to atleast head over to The Goodland for an Instagram (or 100).
Speaking of, I took about 900 pictures so narrowing it down for this post was tough, but here is a sneak peek at the wedding weekend! Happy Monday babes <3.

from left to right: the first hotel Insta | The Outpost restaurant at our hotel (those mason jar lights though!!!) | our pretty little room (love that tapestry!) | my cute date for the weekend
so many home decor #goals in the hotel lobby!
another look at our home for the weekend <3
wedding trivia: bridesmaids stand behind the bride to have her back & keep the other suitors away (wearing the same dress to confuse them!)
the decor was so on point!
& of course… my favorite part of any meal, dessert (& the bride is gluten free, so I had endless options!)
Awesome pics. Looks like a wonderful wedding. My kind of decor. Love your love shack room lol. What a wonderful place. I’m going to put that on my bucket list to see. Thanks for the pics.
Xoxo <3
Looked absolutely beautiful, and amazing photography!
Thanks babe :) x
The venue looks amazing – totally didn’t know the story behind the bridesmaids! xx
