how about that Women’s March though?!
I am not one to particularly talk politics on social media or the blog as I am just not as informed as i’d like to be, but what happened this weekend was pretty spectacular & def. worth a mention.
The amount of men, women, & littles who came out to spread peace & awareness was massive. So bummed I wasn’t able to March, but thankful for Instagram cause I was able to follow along all day.
I was actually live streaming Ashley Judd’s speech while driving & holy shit… that was powerful!! She recited the poem “Nasty Woman” by 19 year old Nina Donovan, & really, it was spectacular. If you haven’t yet heard it, you can listen to it here.
All in all, I think this weekend provided people with a lot of comfort. Comfort to know that even in these scary times, our country will come together as a united front to peacefully spread awareness to some of the very real & important issues in our world today.
SO- did you guys march? If so- tell me about how it was & what city you marched in :)! Would love to hear.

» speaking of girls- aren’t mine the cutest <3 «
» rainbow bagels w/ birthday cake cream cheese + caramel boba drinks in a lightbulb… kind of obsessed w/ the Square Bar cafe. «
» need this wall paper situation in my kitchen! «
» always rearranging & loving this updated spot in my house ft. a rad new clock & black marble bookends (both from Amazon!!). «
I was working so I couldn’t march, but like you I followed along on social media & was blown away! so empowering.
i agree! so amazing!!
I marched in London amongst 100,000 fellow protesters. The rest of the world isn’t turing a blind eye, people are sticking up for each other which is great. The march felt very powerful and was much needed after watching Trumps inauguration speech. X Alex
love to hear that. sounds like such an amazing experience <3
I wasn’t able to March BUT like you was able to follow along on social media. My friends also made these bad af posters that I passed along to my office! Check them out if you’d like: https://womensmarchposters.tumblr.com/
