I seriously had the BEST holiday weekend. I pretty much spent the past three days being uber lazy, sleeping in late, taking cat naps in the middle of the day, playing chess in the park, not checking 500 emails, & enjoying a chilled glass of Rosé on my balcony while reading a new book (“I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends– so LOL!). It’s def. the most mellow 4th of July weekend I ever had- and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Problem is, I now have a major case ‘Monday blues’. The fact that the fourth has come & gone so quick makes me sad. Before I know it July will be over… then August… then it will be Fall. Time seems to be moving in hyper speed right now & I am not a fan. If only things could slow down just a teeny tiny bit… or is it that I need to slow down a bit?
Anways– I hope you all had the perfect weekend & stay tuned for some seriously fun posts coming up this week ;).

Hey Erica! I thought beer had gluten in it?
Yes, beer does have gluten in it. Since I have an intolerance, rather than full blown celiacs– a beer once in a while doesn’t effect me much. Especially since I have cut it out of my diet for so long, the effects of gluten have lessened over the years.
That said, Budweiser is actually (surprisingly) wheat free. One of the few beers that doesn’t use weight, so I typically opt for Budweiser anytime I am craving a cold brew. You can see the statement released by Budweiser here
