HEYYYY GUYS.
So FIRST OF ALL, Zack & I had some fun with film. Film is so cool but such a gamble. Which I kinda hate/love all at the same time. You never know what you’re gonna get & as a blogger who lives in a world of instant gratification that was kind of tough for me. Picking up the photos & uploading them to the computer is always like Christmas morning (or what I would GUESS Christmas morning is like, considering I am Jewish).
& since I am rambling, what happened to CD-ROM’S? I got the CD back of my images & had nowhere to put it. I guess I just never realized my computer didn’t have one of those anymore… am I that old?!
SECOND OF ALL- you guys wanted more fashion on the blog. I ran a poll on Instagram of what you guys want more of and I was SO happy to see a lot of you picked more style posts. I feel like I have swayed from style content in the constant desire to provide value value value. This was a fail on my part, because my blog is called FASHIONlush.
I don’t know where or why I drifted from that, but hey- we all make mistakes! I think with blogging you can get so caught up in the rat race you can lose site of what you & your readers want. SO… I am reeling it back in & going back to basics. I will still have my content heavy posts talking about blogging tips, cause I know you guys love that too, but sometimes I think it’s great to just get straight to the point (although I am def. not doing that right now).
WHICH brings me to- SUMMER DRESSES. Anyone who knows me knows I love cold weather. Summer is not my season, so in this heat, all I can wear is dresses. PLUS- Summer is always event season. SO MUCH GOING on that calls for a dress. I have had to buy so many dresses this summer for weddings, parties, showers, etc.
If you haven’t noticed, I don’t really invest a ton of money into my closet because I do go through things so quickly. Fast fashion is faster than ever, so it’s just hard for me to spend a ton of money on something I will probably only wear two times tops. YA FEEL?
My top retailers when it comes to finding affordable clothing- in case you were wondering are: Forever 21, ASOS, Missguided, BooHoo, & Pretty Little Thing. These are my GO-TO’S when it comes to shopping & below I am sharing a whole bunch of REALLY cute, affordable, summer dresses under $50 (like the one I am wearing in this post which was $15!!!!).
WHAT I’M WEARING
polka dot square neck dress (only $15 & is so so so flattering! I got a small, for reference!) | ribbed lettuce edge crop top ($9 & I have it in black & white!) | Mango white boots (sold out- similar style here & here) | Le Specs cateye sunglasses
