I LOVE coffee table books, to the point where it’s kind of become a bit of a hoarding issue over here.
I am always ordering new ones off of Amazon & getting aggressive while bidding on the rare ones on eBay (currently in a serious bidding war for the hard to find/very pricey “Little Black Jacket” Chanel book!).
I think a stylish coffee table book (or 10) is essential when it comes to decorating the home. I have books ALL over the place. On the coffee table, entertainment stand, bookshelf, desk, bedroom, etc. etc. Books are chic. I also love to color coordinate my books & keep them in a strict monochromatic color scheme to match my decor.
ALSO- if you’re an Instagrammer or blogger, gorgeous coffee books are a total business expense because they make for a great photo prop!
Shop my top picks below & happy FRIDAY! x, E
1. Tom Ford: I haven’t yet peeked at this one, but it’s in the mail! I have seen pictures & it looks so pretty! So many great photos & a real look inside Tom Ford’s genius creative process.
2. Living With Pattern by Rebecca Atwood: an advanced lesson in the art of textures & pattern. Through a series of stunning images it guides you on the art of pattern mixing in your home, which also can be applied to your wardrobe as well!
3. Kate Moss by Mario Testino: A classic ode to queen Kate! This book leads your through her glamorous life through the eyes of Mario Testino, who considered Kate Moss to be his greatest muse. It is also a Taschen book, & they are always so stunning!
4. Noma: A Time & Place in Nordic Cuisine: I am DYING for this book! Noma is a restaurant in Copenhagen that has been awarded the Michelin star 6 years (or more) in a row. We have never had the chance to go due to a VERY long waitlist, but one day we will make it there! In the meantime, I can get a good taste of the vibe & have a little bit of Copenhagen in my home w/ this book. Plus, that marble cover!!!
5. Chloé: Attitudes by Sarah Mower: If you’re like most ladies & drool over all things Chloe- you need this book. It takes you through the history of the iconic brand with fabulous images & also highlights the creative masterminds behind the brand.
6. Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopedia: Zack & I LOVE tattoo books! We have the Danish tattooing book & are always flipping through it. It’s so interesting to look at other peoples art & so you’re into tattoos, this book will be a great source of inspiration. I also love that pink cover, I am always a sucker for a good cover.
