The other day I was cleaning out my shoe closet… cause every time I get a new black boot, I promise Zack I will get one pair away (I have a stupid amount of black boots, and am quickly running out of room to store them!!), & somehow convinced him I could keep some of the pairs if I gave them a makeover.
Doesn’t help the whole shoe storage space issue, but always results in some creative vibes & new shoes for me.
This time around, I wanted to get in on the star studded trend of the year… so I ordered up some fun embellishments & gave my trust old black boots a fresh feel… in like 20 minutes time.

diy star embellished booties
supplies: black boots (or recycle an old pair you don’t wear anymore!) | star studs (small & large– mix up the sizes!) | e600 glue | jewelry pliers (or jewel setter!!) | tweezers
1. wipe the surface of your boots with a wet paper towel to clean off any dust/oil/residue.
2. lay out your studs & start gluing! Simply do about 5 teeny tiny drops of glue (too much glue will get messy!!) at a time & place your studs. I used my jewelry pliers to place my little stars, but this tool is a game changer for applying studs. Sadly, Ruby ate mine while I was setting up for this project.
3. repeat on the other side, & the other shoe. let dry for 24 hours. EASY, & so so cool. RIGHT
