My family is by far one bat sh*t group of people, but I must say- they are certainly the coolest group I have ever met.
I have spent this time, as hard as it may be for this control freak/workaholic, to shut down & just enjoy this time here in freezing cold Atlanta. We’ve ate (way too much- diet coming soon), drank, played Apples to Apples, laughed till we cried, decorated a gingerbread house, celebrated Hanukkah + opened gifts, re-watched almost all seasons of Girls, & took 20 bajillion pictures. It’s been beyond perfect.
& sadly tomorrow it will be all over. Goodbyes suck, especially when your family lives across the country & especially when you have to go home to a brand new/bare/unorganized apartment + a ton of work. Reality will absolutely be a kick in the ass after this week long retreat, but I guess I knew I’d have to re-enter at one point or another. Sad face x 100.
