This & That: What Up, Twenty Seventeen

First This & That post of twenty seventeen (& the 145th of all time). I personally love these posts because it’s my chance to really write… which I love to do. I get to catch you guys up, fill you in, rant a little, & just shoot the shit about life’s happenings.

Especially excited about this T&T because the fresh start of the New Year has the future looking bright, & that makes me pretty excited to start off on a strong foot.

Twenty Sixteen was epic- we traveled (Santorini was life changing!), collaborated w/ tons of amazing new brands, got a puppy, I found out I am gonna be an aunt (yay!), my best friend got married… basically, it was just a year with a lot of ups. Twenty Seventeen has a tough act to follow, but I’m feeling optimistic!!

There will be so many exciting things coming this year. My blog design company, blog-doo, is working to provide even more ways to help babes become succesful bloggers, I have a huge project I am working on that is gonna be pretty next level (stay tuned for updates!!), and….

Fashionlush is getting a huge ass makeover… & it’s coming very soon!

Yup yup yup. You guys know me, I gotta switch things up. I have been working for months on perfecting this relaunch & I really think you guys are gonna dig it! Can’t wait for you guys to see it- which will be just around the corner while we tie up all those pesky loose ends.

Okay… now for some of my NYE wknd highlights. Hope you guys had a fab wknd filled with glitter, countdowns, & lots of bubbles!! x, E

fashionlush, minimal desk decor, shutterfly book

» best gift everrrr. Zack got me a book all about Bitzy- an entire chronicle of her life to date. If you know me, she is my everything & this book is a save first in a fire kinda prized possession. «

fashionlush, danielle guizio, glitter dip nails

» glitter dipped disco nails + fave new hoodie by Danielle Guizio (rad stuff!) «

fashionlush, brooklyn girl, south park san diego

» yearly NYE tradition- dinner at our fave restaurant, Brooklyn Girl Eatery. The decor is so on point & the oyster menu is so bomb. The entire menu in general, is so good & they make a killer mule. «

fashionlush, new years eve, all black outifts

» so much rain! post dinner we snuggled up in our sweats, watched the countdown, kissed the dogs, & then played Super Mario 3 on our new Nintendo NES classic. Somehow my sister scored me one & we are addicted to all that nostalgia. Couldn’t think of a better way to ring it in… my kinda night. «
