Pink is a Neutral

Holy shit. Color.

Not only did it happen, but it happened with pink of all hues.

I remember the day I swore off pink, & all of the sudden- I want to swim in a sea of pink everything.

NBD, because according to Glossier’s very own Emily Weiss, PINK IS A NEUTRAL.

Kind of having an out of body experience saying this, but I totally agree. Pink has somehow morphed from a huge NO-NO to an even bigger YASSS, please.

Plus, I am all about going against the grain, & the whole “not enough black” -Said No One Ever vibe is getting a little played out. WHO AM I?!?! Now now, if you come here for the monochrome, don’t have a conniption. I obviously don’t plan to morph into little miss Rainbow Brite over here (although she is pretty rad), but I can’t promise you there won’t be a splash of pink here & there.

As long as it’s muted, minimal, & the silhouette is just right (i.e. these amazingggg culottes)- I can deal with a dose of pretty in pink every now and again.

What do you guys think? Are you hopping on the Pink is a Neutral train? Have I lost my marbles or are you feeling it?! LMK & you can shop this look + my favorite neutral pink picks below. x, E
