By far the most asked question I get from family/readers/friends is HOW do I effectively shop at Forever 21.
First, let me say, I love Forever 21!! It’s a great spot for fast fashion, it’s affordable, & they are always on top of the latest trends. That said, I 100% get it, shopping F21 can be super overwhelming. The store, whether online or physically there, is over flowing with clothes.
Over the past few years I have done majority of my Forever 21 shopping online, for the sole reason I find it to be easier to do than facing the huge crowds at the actual store. Also, it helps me avoid impulse buys as I can sift through & analyze what I am buying from the comfort of my own couch. My main tips for online shopping at F21 is to read the reviews, check the model sizes for a reference, actually measure yourself, & just stick to the new arrivals.
If you prefer the whole in store experience, I highly suggest looking into if there is a F21 RED store in your area. This is a new concept for F21, & it’s a realllll game changer. One just opened up in my area, & it was seriously such a pleasant & stress free shopping environment. Basically, it has simplified the whole F21 shopping experience, kinda like the old days when Forever 21 was a small store in the mall. PLUS, they carry items for the whole family- men, women, girls, & babies.
Considering the time crunch (last minute Larry over here), I didn’t have time to shop online, so I made my way to the new mellow F21 RED store in San Diego to grab some holiday sparkle for ringing in the New Year.
When it comes to sequins on NYE, I am all about it. Why not get a little sparkly on the most glam day of the year? Something about sequins give off that rad Studio 54 vibe. It just screams Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. Yes?
I had it in my mind that I wanted sequin pants for the big night, so when I saw this epic black cropped pair, I was all about it.
Naturally, I stayed true to my all black vibe & threw on a leather jacket to up the edge factor (& to keep warm as it’s abnormally cold in SD right now!). Now, I can’t promise that this is THE New Years look as there is always the chance we opt to stay inside rocking onesies under blankets, but if we do make it out of the house, these will be the pants. Regardless, these pants will definitely be worn again as I am totally envisioning them looking super rad when paired with a vintage band tee.
So, what about you guys– are you getting sparkly to ring in the New Year? If so, be sure to check out my top sequin picks below! x, E
