SO weird of me, but some days I like to get up & get dressed as if I am going into an office somewhere.
Being a blogger, it’s way too easy to get super comfortable in skinny jeans & sneakers everyday while blogging from the couch (trust, not as glam as some make it look), so I like to get all dolled up a few days out of the week.
I wear my best “office look” & go to the coffee shop like I’m some sort of fancy shmancy exec. assistant to someone uber important. I check my emails while waiting in line, looking so busy (secretly checking Instagram, derr), & get like a super strong coffee drink cause I have a really long day of crunching numbers/taking conference calls ahead of me.
Sometimes you just wanna be bossy, ya know? This is my best “hey, I work in an office and do really important shit allllll day long” look. Not saying my blogging isn’t important & extremely time consuming (what’s sleep?!), but typically people just take you more seriously when there aren’t holes in your jeans.
So, office babes, this ones for you. Some subtle color blocking (die over this longline vest) + rad wide leg trousers + a crispy white crop makes for a nice little office look that can take you from the desk to drinks… cause office people always do happy hour, yes?.
