Happy National BFF Day to all!
I am a lucky lucky girl to have a handful of really amazing ladies in my life, & of course, all of you guys– my virtual BFF’s :).
Real life or internet life, I am gonna quote the Golden Girls on this one…
THANK YOU FOR BEING A FRIEND!!!
Be sure to send your friends a text, drop a phone call, dedicate an Insta, or… if you’re feeling crafty… whip them up this cheeky little DIY Rosary BFF necklace.
It’s not only cute & meaningful, but it’s pretty damn stylish (not your cheesy BFF lanyard bracelet). Layer this bad boy up with 2-3 dainty gold necklaces + a choker & your neck game will be on point.
Check out how to make it below… you’ll be surprised how damn simple it is! Happy crafting. x, E
DIY | National BFF Day Rosary Necklace
» clasps & jump rings
» jewelry pliers & wire cutters::: this is a great little starter kit!
1. using your wire cutters, cut your chain to length depending on where you want it to hit (times 2, since you will be making 2 necklaces!)
2. once you decided on a total length, measure where you want the rosary part of the necklace to start & cut your chain again. You will now have two pieces of chain, your main necklace piece (longer) & the rosary “tail” (shorter).
3. grab your triangle connector piece & attach it it to your two ends of the main necklace piece & then attach the rosary tail to the third hole.
4. now- time to stamp! grab your two broken heart blanks & tape them together with a small piece of tape on the underside & start stamping your custom saying (partners in crime or best bitches work really well!).
5. attach your blanks to the end of the rosary with a jump ring.
6. cut your chain at the top of the necklace in the back & attach your clasp!
TA-DAH. Cheeky & fun, right?!
