Matte Black w/ Movado Edge

There is just something about rocking a rad timepiece just screams legit. Don’t you think?

Whenever you see a woman dressed to the nines with a sleek watch on her wrist, you know she’s got somewhere to be/something to do/& is an all around girl boss. Personally, I have never been much of the wrist candy type, but as of late I have been really digging watches (& those bossy feels that I felt my wardrobe was missing in a big big way!).

When I first caught glimpse of the blacked out Movado Edge watch, I kinda died & went to watch heaven. I mean, you guys know me, all black outfits… all (well, majority) of the time. What better watch to match just about my entire closet/house/life?

PLUS, it’s a Movado, & in the world of watch makers, they know what’s up!

I love how sleek & classic it is, while still being modern & edgy (hence the name). It can be dressed up, as seen here, or dressed down with some layered bracelets, ripped jeans, a vintage tee, & a leather jacket (next way I’m wearing it!). Basically, no matter how you wear this beauty, you’re for sure gonna look like the bad ass babe you are. RIGHT?!

Not to mention, punctuality! Yes, we all have cell phones, but an extra reminder to not be late is always a bonus. Being late is never in style, & frankly, it’s super un-profesh/kinda rude… which is exactly what we’re trying to avoid by wearing a watch (look like a boss, act like a boss, BE ON TIME!).

Personally, I am thinking I will be giving watches to all my habitually tardy friends/family this year. Hopefully they will get my slightly passive aggressive message to stop being so late all the time.
