She gave you life, which is pretty much the best gift of all time, so how on earth do you show your Mom (aka BFF/ no.1 fan/ lifeline) just how much she means to you?
For me, being the DIY-er that I am, there is no better gift than a handmade one…
…unless your getting your Mom a Birkin, which in that case, you should probably close out of this post now & start making room for your “daughter of the year” award.
Really though, Mom’s are HARD to shop for. What can you possibly get them that they either don’t already have or wouldn’t throw into the infamous “regift” pile?
These DIY wildflower seed bombs are a magical, easy to make, & really adorable way to show your Mom just how rad she is. Plus, she will be quite impressed with your creative skills :)!
Whether she has a green thumb or not, they are easy to plant & yield a gift that keeps on giving– pretty blooms <3.

Mother’s Day DIY | Wildflower Seed Bombs
» Soil
» Flower Seeds
1. In a bowl, combine 5 parts clay to one part soil. For reference, one cup of clay would make about 15 bombs.
2. Pour in your seeds & fold them into the mixture.
3. Roll the mixture to form small balls (about an inch in diameter).
4. Place on a baking sheet w/ wax paper & let dry. Mine took about a day and a half to be fully hardened, just in time for Mother’s Day!
5. Wrap up (I used burlap & these adorable little tin buckets) & deliver to all the precious Mama’s in your life!
** To plant, just throw & grow! Literally, all you have to do is throw them in soil, water occasionally, & expect to see an abundance of beautiful flowers in about 6 weeks. You guys should see my garden, it’s on fleek!! **
