When it comes to my style, you guys know this, I am not the most girly girl. It’s not that I don’t like the idea of a pink flowy dress, it just doesn’t suit my personality all too much (or my skin tone!).
Instead of the go-to pastel prints, I am all about moody florals. They add the perfect amount of edge to the floral Summer look, while still being super feminine.
I have been hoarding tons of darker floral print pieces lately & love that these pieces can also be carried into Fall. I definitely see myself rocking this dress with a leather jacket when it get’s a bit colder!
I have been hoarding tons of dark florals lately, so here are a few of my fave!
1. Missy Empire ‘Aisha’ dress: this is the dress I am wearing in this post & I love love love it! It comes with a sash belt in the same print, which I ended up wearing as a choker type skinny scarf!
2. Floral Off the Shoulder Mini Dress: I JUST bought this cute dress & I am obsessed with it. It’s seriously so flattering. Actually, I am thinking I am probably gonna wear it on my birthday, so you know I really love it! Also, it’s $23… which is a major win!
3. Layered Floral Cami Dress: you know I am into nineties vibes always, so I definitely am into this floral print cami dress with a layered white tee underneath. Very on point!
4. The Fall Floral Dress: I like how this one has a baby doll type fit to it- I love that silhouette with a pair of super edgy moto boots.
5. Floral Print Split Maxi Skirt: A floral maxi skirt is an essential in my Summer wardrobe & this one fits all my skirt criteria- the higher waist (great with bikinis/crop tops) & the two thigh high slits are everything.
Shop this look + even more moody florals below & let me know your thoughts- are you guys rocking darker florals for Summer or keeping it more light & bright?! x, E
