364 days out of the year, being gluten free is pretty A-OK… then rolls around Thanksgiving, & all of us gluten-freer’s pretty much want to crawl in a hole & cry.

Chances are you will be heading to someone else’s house, & that person is most likely not gluten free, nor are all the other guests. You don’t be that annoying whiney guests who calls the host with twenty annoying food restrictions, but what the hell are you gonna do? Well… you’re certainly not going to sit home & cry over the fact you can’t eat the stuffing.

Soooo, without further adieu… here are some of my helpful gluten free T-giving tips guarantee that you don’t die over food envy.

+ Weird fact, turkey’s are not always gluten free. Forward this list of gluten free turkey’s to your host. They won’t mind, because it really doesn’t alter the taste at all.

+ Inform the host you that will bringing some of your own sides & explain to her why. It’s Thanksgiving, the more food the merrier.

+ If you are very intolerant to gluten, bring your own serving spoons for your sides as you don’t know if the host has used her spoons to stir the stuffing.

+ Bring your own dessert- but make sure you have enough for everyone!

+ Have fun & challenge yourself to make a dish that people won’t believe is gluten free (such as the above biscuits).

+ If you’ve made any requests for food, offer to come early & help your host cook!

+ Say PLEASE & THANK YOU! Gluten free cooking isn’t always easy, so if someone went out of their way to do it for you- be very grateful. Maybe even give them a gift or a nice bottle of wine.
