Coachella may be over, but it doesn’t mean you can’t keep the fun hairstyles coming!
I am having a major moment with glitter, so we thought it’d be fun to test out the hottest/kind of out there hair trend of the moment: glitter roots (plus some fun braided buns that would look rad with or without glitter!).
Check out how it’s done below & let me know what you guys think about glitter roots? Personally, I am a major fan.

How To | Glitter Roots & Braided Buns
Supplies: hair gel, loose glitter, dye brush, small bowl, bobby pins, small hair ties.
» 1. Starting on one side- begin dutch braiding (crossing strands under instead of over) your hair until you reach right above the ear, finish braiding section as a regular braid leaving out the hair underneath.
» 2. Once finished, secure the end & roll the braid into a bun and pin.
» 3. Repeat steps 1-3 on the other side.
» 4. Mix gel & glitter in a small bowl using your dye brush. Continue adding glitter until you get it to the amount of sparkle you want!
» 5. Paint on the glitz & let dry (feel free to layer it if it’s not shining enough!).
» Optional: Top with a coat of hairspray to seal in the glitter.
