As mentioned, we’re going to Cabo towards the end of the month (!!!) & to be completely honest, I am nowhere near ready to be frolicking around in a bikini.
It’s the middle of winter over here & this trip was semi-spur of the moment, so to say I am not prepared would be an understatement. I’m white as a ghost & have been enjoying way too many gluten free lox & bagel sandwiches (my vice) as of late.
SO, starting a few days before the New Year, I have been actively making small changes to live healthier & get in shape. Swapping out the bagels for quinoa superfood oatmeal & protein smoothies (ouch, this one hurts), meeting with the trainer bi-weekly, eating more lean protein/good fats, & most importantly- upping my walking game.
Swapping out walking for driving (when close enough), taking the stairs instead of the elevator, & setting daily step goals are simple yet effective ways to get some extra calories burned & meet your fitness goals more quickly.
Which brings me to the GlamFit fitness tracker by Liberty™. Unlike the more tech-y looking trackers out there, this one is a pretty rad piece of fine jewelry that also incorporates a step counter to keep me on point with my daily goals. It syncs with an app straight to my phone that records each step I take, tracks my daily patterns, tells me how many calories were burned in a day, & records my quality of sleep.
Since I am a borderline insomniac & I know how important beauty rest is when looking to get in shape, the sleep tracking feature has been a major game change. Plus, just wearing this pretty lil’ bangle is a constant reminder to make healthier choices all around.
Check out all the entire collection here & if you have any other get fit quick tips, please please please comment below. I need all the help I can get. x, E
