FINALLY, some signs of Fall!! This has been an effing long ass summer & I was getting FOR REALS concerned that we weren’t gonna have a Fall at all. Boot season is wayyyy better than bikini season any day, so when this weekend showed signs of drizzles/cool nights/& that amazing feeling of coziness, I was all about it & pretty much made sure the whole weekend was very “Fall-ISH”.
+ Friday night we did a Pho dinner w/ friends. When it rains, we Pho… & it’s just starting to drizzle as I type, so it looks like Pho for dinner. Pho is my phucking phavorite.
+ Saturday morning marked my first hot bevvy of the season (via Better Buzz): a pumpkin Spice Chai Latte, add shot, organic almond milk (so much better than the Bucks’ fake coconut shit). I wore boots to breakfast, because…. FALL.
+ Saturday night I set up a romantic at home date night for me & the beau. We were watching my Mom’s dogs since she was out of town, so we decided to make a little staycation out of it. We BBQ-ed, sipped on prosecco cocktails w/ raspberries, & ended the night with a movie marathon… outside! My mom legit has the sickest set up with a day bad + outdoor television situation so it ‘s basically like you’re at the drive-in, but swapping out the car for a bed. We grabbed all the blankets & powered through American Sniper, Cinderella (the new one!), & True Story (SUCH A LEGIT MOVIE!!!).
+ & we ended the weekend with all of our closest friends, wearing layers, drinking Corona lights around the fire pit!
To sum it all up, that’s pretty much all the makings of my perfect weekend, & such a lovely Fall teaser. The temperatures are going to get warm again (85 mid week), but atleast I know Fall is on the horizon & I will enjoy every breeze that comes my way.
