When it comes to bikini shopping, I have a seriously rough time. It’s pretty much always ends up in a Goldilocks & the Three Bears type situation- minus that “just right part”.
First choice is typically a bikini that looks similar to the one Kate Upton wore on the cover of Sports Illustrated- ya know, the tiny one that left nothing to the imagination? Pass.
Or you can opt for the oh-so-popular granny style. I am sorry, but that high-waisted look everyone is rocking right now… could there be anything more unflattering (unless, maybe, you’ve got that stick figure bod.)??? Ehh… not for me.
Last great bikini I had was one I got from Hollister when I was 16 (don’t judge, I worked their for a hot minute. Ouch.). I wore that bad boy till it was literally unwearable, a.k.a. my awful repair jobs were starting to become obvious. Since it’s retirement 4 years ago, I have been on an endless search for a new fave bikini.
After finding Triangl bikinis, I think it’s safe to say the search has ended. Halle-freaking-lujah, that was getting real old. Their suits fit like a glove (loving that neoprene fabric!), aren’t too revealing, yet still have that cheeky/hot vibe going on. I opted for the Winnie bikini in Holli Hyde print, cause when it comes to anything cow print, I can’t resist.
Pair your bikini of choice with a floor duster kimono, a thigh high slit maxi, some fab sandals, & a boho braid– and you’ve now got my “go-to” beach day fashion look.
Got any great bikinis to share? Do tell!! I am always willing to add to the collection.
