I am on kind of opposite ends of the spectrum with my shoe preferences right now- either chunky sneakers or strappy simple heels.
Which is weird, cause these are two shoes I have always shied away from. I was super into boots for MANY years- but that seems to be the last thing I am reaching for these days. I am loving a barely there sandal moment lately. It’s a sexy shoe & looks good both dressed up & dress down.
Below are some of my faves, plus a few ideas on how to style the barely there sandal vibe.
1. Public Desire Sultry black patent sandals:
I love a patent heel for summer, & the pointy toe is super chic. These are super similar to the ones I am wearing, which I paired with a silky belted long jacket (similar to this), a slick backed ponytail, & a cowrie shell anklet. I have also paired them with a simple black satin slip dress! This is my go-to shoe style currently.
2. Missguided embellished barely there heels:
I need these- not only cause they are rad, but imagine how cool they would look with the Kira Kira app. Personally, I would rock these with a pair of black bike shorts, a black crop top & an oversized windbreaker style jacket. I will probably wear that exact look in Europe in two weeks.
3. Missguided black two strap heels:
these are just a good basic go to. They aren’t quite as dressy as either of the above pairs, so they would be great with a pair of ripped cut off shorts & a rad vintage t-shirt w/ lots of necklaces.
4. Public Desire Geo lace up heels:
I love an ankle lace up shoe. Not always the easiest to wear, if we’re being honest, but they are super hot. I love this pair because it comes in bunch of rad colors (not mad at that yellow) & the ankle lace up is super delicate. I don’t love a chunky ankle situation. Oh, & the clear toe strap is v cool. Just add some girlfriend jeans, a cool belt, & a cute white shirt.
5. Missguided barely there white heels:
I have been really drawn to all things white lately when it comes to my wardrobe, so a white pair of simple heels is a must & look chic with a little floral dress or a fun summery set.
6. BooHoo Diamante skinny strap barely there heels:
these are kinda similar to the rhinestone pair above, BUT they are on sale for $25 so I had to throw them in there. I would choose the other pair first, tbh, but if your on a budget these are still SO fab.
