SO- for the first time in quite a few years, my skin has gotten to the point where I am leaving the house with nearly no makeup (just a little cc cream for SPF protection, mascara, brows, gloss).
The road to this point wasn’t easy & included a lot of trial & error.
I was that girl buying into every product that promised it would make my skin perfect, spending way too much money, & just hoarding way too much.
When my skin got to it’s worst point, I was using so many products that I had no idea how to pinpoint what was causing my skin problems. So then I went through a longggg process of slowly eliminating products to see which one was the problem.
I did end up getting things under control eventually (praise), mainly by simplifying my products, but at the end of the whole thing- my skin was THIRSTY. It was dry, drab, & tired looking.
I was hesitant to add a moisturizer back into the routine, because when I was having breakouts… I am pretty sure it was due to a really really expensive moisturize that people rave about. If the high end moisturizer makes me break out, they probably all will???
Then, Olay reached out about their Regenerist Micro-Sculpting cream, & after reading up on the product/perusing all of the reviews- it sounded like this would be a great moisturizer.
When it arrived I used it for three days straight & had no problems at all. I did notice I was waking up with VERY glowy skin… but I thought, maybe I just drank a ton of water yesterday? Could be the cream, Maybe. Maybe not.
Then, later in the day, I ran into my best friend at the grocery store & she literally looked at me and said “Your skin looks really good— what are you using?” I told her about regenerist & by the time I got into the car she emailed me to send her the link. Don’t believe me- ask her… you guys know Lauryn (aka The Skinny Confidential)!
Clearly, it was working… & also- not a break out in sight. If anything, it’s clearing things up. I had this super stubborn underground pimple on my chin for weeks & no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to go away. I tried EVERYTHING. Now, it’s completely 100% gone which was pretty mind blowing.
On top of that it’s an anti-aging cream, & the lightweight moisturizer really PLUMPS up the skin making it super dewy.
Win-win.
Still not convinced? Good Housekeeping Institute (aka legit) did a study that showed Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream outperforms the top 10 most prestige creams, including one with a $440 price tag (which I think may be the one that made me break out a bit).
& trust me… it’s nowhere close to that $440 pricetag, more like under $30. I am a huge believer in not breaking the bank to have good beauty products, so yeah- I am a fan. If things only go up from here, which I think they will, this cream will soon be a top shelf holy grail product.
Have you tried it? Do you love Olay products? Cause I do- they just never let me down. x, E
