A few weeks ago my best friend & I went to the Beyoncé concert (life changing!) & for it- we decided we wanted SUPER long french braids a la Bey in the Formation video + every member of Kardashian/Jenner clan.
Obviously my hair isn’t too long & getting extensions wasn’t gonna happen, so I went the loose hair route & it was pretty amazing.
Not to mention, the loose hair shouldn’t cost you more than $3 a pack (no need to get the fancy stuff), so you won’t be breaking the night for a one day hairstyle. Ya feel?

Supplies: loose hair (from beauty supply store! it shouldn’t cost you more than $5), clear hair ties, hairspray
» 1. Starting at your scalp about an inch away from your scalp, grab a small section of hair.
» 2. Brush out your loose hair, making sure it’s free of tangles & look around the small section of hair.
» 3. Begin inverted french braid, adding loose hair to the other two sections.
» 4. Once you have three long sections, continue braiding all the way to the ends.
» 5. Secure with clear hairspray& spray the top of your hair to keep the fly aways to a minimum.
» Optional: when you hit the nap of your neck, you can always add in more hair to make the braids even longer!
» Optional: if you’ve got roots you want to cover up, we used a sponge root cover up to help make them darker!
