Oh hey guys! Happy Friday. I don’t know why some weeks seem longer than others, but this past one felt like an eternity. Lots of good stuff with my birthday & all, but exhausting AF! Total sensory/social overload. I am more than ready for the weekend & a break from this computer.
BUT, before I sign off, I am so so so excited about today’s post.
WHY?
…. because video lookbooks may very well be my new favorite thing ever AND nothing more I love than a little sneaker styling.
The sneaker trend clearly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so today I am sharing two ways to style your sneakers. One casual… for a more mellow vibe (brunch?), & an edged up version that could even be suitable for date night or GNO.
Really though, when it comes down to it, it’s more about the sneaker than the outfit. You need something versatile, comfy, clean (unless it’s Converse, they can be a little roughed up), & most of all- cool/different.
As for the sneakers on my feet… do you recognize them? Having flashbacks? If you were a teen in the 2000’s, you have got to remember the OG K-Swiss Tongue Twister. It was the coolest thing since sliced bread because you could literally twist the tongue & wear it two ways. GENIUS.
WELL, good news…. the tongue twister is backkkkk with a bang. The new & improved styles all have rad python details, come in a whole bunch of different colors/textures, & the twisting tongues allow you to switch up your sneakers whenever you feel like it. Cool, yes?
Check out the visual lookbook below to see how I styled my K-Swiss sneaks & shop the post! Happy Friday! x, E
p.s. do you guys dig video lookbooks? want more? let me know!!
