This past weekend, I had a crazy revelation.
Okay… not that crazy, but semi-startling. I came to the realization that at some point in the recent past, I have transformed into a full blown domesticated adult. Being that I am the youngest one in my family, I haven’t really looked at myself or accepted the fact that I am a ‘grown-up’. It’s a hard pill to swallow… tell me one person who is like “Yesss- I am getting so old!”. It’s a tough concept to grasp & often times gives me severe anxiety, but it’s a stage in life that I am finally accepting… and actually learning to enjoy.
Gone are the days of Sunday Funday, instead it’s “Sunday-get-shit-done-day”. Bloody Mary’s & brunching on the weekend have been replaced with redecorating my home (this weekends activity- coming soon!), gardening, & keeping it mellow with my family. Don’t get me wrong, there is OBVIOUSLY still wine involved (or my latest obsession- Bon Affair spritzers)… but rage-fests & hangovers are a distant memory that are not/ will not be missed.
So- what about you guys? Anyone else on this same page as me? I would love to hear how you guys cope w/ this strange/scary transition.

++ Happiness is:: a rad new coffee table book! Blow Me a Kiss by Alice Harris is full of some of the most iconic pouts in history (Mick Jagger, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, etc.) taken by some of the most famous photogs in history (Andy Warhol, David LaChapelle, Roy Lichtenstein, etc.). Trust, it’s pretty epic. ++
++ Bon Affair is officially my new jam. It’s a mix of yummy wine (either Sauvignon Blanc or Syrah), electrolytes, purified sparkling water, & Grapeseed extract. There is ZERO sugar & it’s half the calories of regular wine (100 cals per 8oz). Keep it chilled & enjoy on a hot Summer day, you won’t be disappointed. ++
++ Bitzy was pretty excited when, for once, the packy at the front door was for her!! Paleo Paw was nice enough to send my lil’ foodie some organic/GMO-free ‘Love Bites’. I have her on a very strict all raw diet, so these treats were actually something I felt comfortable giving her. She love love loved them!! ++
++ Mmm. Loving these new crisp white stilettos w/ some amazing perforated deets! Can’t wait to rock ’em… in Sweden!! ++
