Yup… this past weekend was my bday weekend… the big two seven + my “golden year” (7/27).
Here’s the truth, as you get older, bday’s are start to change. Back in the day, age 1-25, birthday parties are all about presents/parties/cake/ and, from your 21st on, drinking. By the time you turn 27, all you wanna do on your big day is relax. Life is busy, you’re a “grown up”, and staying in with some beers and a movie seems like a wild night.
Maybe I am just an old lady at heart… but staying in with some PBR’s, gluten free bday cake, my guy, and Spring Breakers is a winning night in my book. The perfect birthday celebration.
