My sister is a St. Patty’s day baby, so it only made sense we get in some quality time with a themed DIY, which ended up turning into the cutest pre-birthday tea party!
These DIY tea bags are super easy to make & are a fab way to get a little festive this St. Patrick’s Day.
To keep with the green theme, I stuffed our tea bags with my favorite coconut green tea from Trader Joes (next level) & served up the tea with a side of yummy mint dark chocolate.
Fun, right?!
Happy (early) St. Patricks Day!!
Supplies Needed
» coffee filters
» green embroidery thread & needle
» St. Patrick’s Day tea tag printables
» loose leaf tea
» using the shamrock template, trace the shape onto the coffee filter. «
» layer coffee filters (depending on how many you’re making) & cut out your shamrocks. «
» sew together two shamrocks using an overcast stitch, stopping about 3/4 way through. «
» fill your tea bags with your loose leaf tea & sew shut, leaving the excess string for the tea tag. «
» cut out your tea tag, fold in half, glue to top of leftover string. «
» serve with minty dark chocolate & green gumballs (both can be found at Michaels!) «
i’m obsessed w/ this! such a cute project, definitely gonna be making these w/ my girlfriends!
