In honor of #FBF…
… when I was thirteen I was Bat Mitzvah’ed. The event was awesome & a great learning experience & blah blah blah, but what sticks out to me the most about the whole deal was the outfit I wore to my party (btw- best party ever, thanks Mom & Dad).
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I walked in that room rocking a cow print mini skirt w/ a sheer-sleeved black BeBe top like it was nobodies business. Really though, how many 13 year olds have cow-print in their closet? I did, naturally. I was feeling pretty cool.
To this day, my friends who went to the party still talk about it, “Remember that epic cow print skirt you wore to you Bat Mitzvah. Don’t you wish you stilled owned it now?!”.
Abso-effing-lutely. That skirt was everything.
BUT- I don’t still have it, & even if I did, it obviously wouldn’t fit me anymore (sad). So, I guess I will have to fill my cow print skirt void elsewhere.
First seen was the Rag & Bone Newbury Boots, but for $600… no thanks. Cow print is pretty aggressive, & these just couldn’t cut it as an everyday boot. Therefore, I can’t justify the price. The Matisse Keegan’s on the other hand… at $126, that I can do.
Cow print skirt revived, in the form of the sickest boots ever. #Thankyouverymuch Matisse for letting me relive my youth. How could I ever repay you?
