I have been to NUMEROUS facialist’s to “fix my skin” & although they all do a facial differently (I am V picky about my facials)… every single facial I have ever received ended in a list of pore clogging ingredients to avoid + homework to clean out all my beauty products that have pore cloggers in them.
& typically… I never end up doing it. It always seemed to be such a daunting task & I had so much good stuff that people raved about. I pulled the wool over my eyes & avoided that pore clogging ingredient list for YEARS, but finally… I am pleased to announce, I did my homework 5+ years later & it has made ALL the difference.
My adult acne that I have had for YEARS is finally clearing up, my skin is so happy, & I got rid of literally everything I own that has a pore clogging ingredient in it. THIS WAS PAINFUL, because to my surprise, just about everything has atleast ONE pore clogging ingredient (shea butter is in EVERYTHING!!!). Don’t fret, all my great pore clogging products found good homes with my friends who are blessed with perfect skin.
HERE’S THE THING, just because a beauty product has pore clogging ingredients in it, doesn’t mean it’s a bad product. Some of the MOST raved about beauty products on the market are filled with pore cloggers. It’s just if you have sensitive/acne-prone skin, the quickest fix you’re gonna find is a shit ton of water & not letting pore clogging ingredients TOUCH your skin.
