Okay so first off, before I go into all the event deets, let me tell you a bit about what RewardStyle is. Cause if you’re not a blogger/online retailer, chances are you don’t know what the eff I am talking about.
RewardStyle was created in 2011 by Amber Venz & her then boyfriend (now fiance- congrats you two!) Baxter Box. She was a blogger & had lots of blogger friends, she wanted to find a way for all of them to be compensated for the work they were putting into their blog & their styling edits.
The second RS opened it doors, the blogging game was officially changed. The best part is, it was created for bloggers by bloggers & they pay such close detail to everything to ensure the whole process is simple & organic.
You can read more about this amazing company here, & if you are a blogger- it is invite only but you can apply here!
++ sparkly pineapple flavored Fluffpops in glasses of champs- c’est chic! ++
++ mini lunches w/ pink chopsticks via the Neiman Marcus hosted luncheon. ++
++ Our fave place to rendezvous for lunch- CBD provisions at the Joule Hotel in Dallas. Please trust me when I tell you to try their homemade Gingerale w/ sugared ginger. I could live off of the stuff. So yum. ++
++ My Dallas dream team:: Lauryn i.e. The Skinny Confidential, her beau- Michael, & me. Good times all around w/ this group. ++
#rStheCon Highlights::
++ Hearing the amaze Amber Venz discuss the world of blogging, her pro-tips, & tons of other trade secrets was a real mind blow. Not to mention, her style is so on point I couldn’t even deal.
++ Loved meeting with tons of great brands, including but not limited to: Nasty Gal, MISSGUIDED, The Outnet, Reiss, Piperlime, Nordstrom, & many more. Stay tuned for some fun collabs coming your way!! Excited.
++ I also got to chit-chat w/ a few of my all time fave bloggers such as Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam & Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes. They were such dolls & had the best advice when it comes to working in this crazy industry!
++ Made some new bloggy-buds, to name a few:: Jaffrene, The Beauty Professor, The Beauty Lookbook, The Pearl Oyster, & Drunk on Shoes. Honestly, I don’t know what was flowing more- the business cards or the bubbly?
++ Got an early copy of Sophia Amoruso’s amaze new book- #GIRLBOSS. I started to read it at take-off on the plane ride home, & didn’t put it down the whole way. Oops, sorry emails! It’s that good though.
++ my look for the finale wrap party hosted by The Outnet. Apologies for the iPhone pic– too busy having fun to take any “real” pictures ;). [ b&w checkered top, high-waisted leather shorts, leopard pumps- similar. ] ++
++ for more pictures from my amazing weekend in Texas, be sure to ch-ch-check me out on Insta @_fashionlush_!! ++
