Meet the “paper bag purse” a.k.a. the roll-top a.k.a the leather lunch bag.
Jil Sander invented it using actual brown paper for a whopping $290, Céline had a version of their own priced at a cool $2,100, & minimalistic bloggers everywhere pretty much lost their shit / single handedly wiped them off the shelves real quick (& then proceed to post a super chic/cool/b&w Instagram photos to make everyone uber jealous of their overpriced clutch).
Personally, no matter how badass it is (& yes, I think it is VERY badass), I’d never drop that kinda dough on a grown up version of a lunch sack. For under $20 though, you better believe I’m getting it.
Has anyone else noticed that F21 is really upping the cool factor over there? If not, this latest RG/PG find is proof. Not only do they have this “It Girl” clutch for a steal of a deal, but they also have it in two of my favorite colors: black & white.
Yes, I absolutely got them both, cause at that price… why wouldn’t I? Even if I don’t end up wearing both of them, I think they’d make great home decor accessories. I’m thinking a leather lunch bag on a bookshelf would be très chic.

Love this post and I actually have the F21 version in white. What I thought was super weird though was they categorized it under Forever 21 for MEN…. and to buy it I had to steal it out of the Men’s section at my local store. I appreciate their brilliant knockoff (including the magnetic closure) but wish they would have marketed it better. Cheers!
