My Big Magazine Debut!!!

A while back I shared this look, which was actually the outfit I wore for a mini-shoot with Marie Claire. They hit me up about 4 months ago asking if I wanted to join 30 girls in representing SD’s fashion scene. Obviously there was only one answer. Duh!!!!

I met up with them, had fun taking a few snaps in the back of a random Starbucks, and went home. I heard from someone at MC a few times, but no definite yes or no that I was picked.

Today, driving home from a baby shower with my Mom, she asked if I ever heard back from them. I told her I would email them tonight/tomorrow about the June issue and if I made the cut. She reminded me then that it was already June, so we decided to pop on down to the 7-11 and see for ourselves. Low and behold, as I opened the one and only Marie Claire on the shelf, I saw ME!

What. a. trip!!!! Not gonna lie, we immediately drove to Target and bought all the issues they had (5 to be exact). My mom of course had to point it out the cash register, which was pretty lol. She was as excited as I still am.
