Here in California, everyday is Casual Friday.

When people get “dressed up” for a big meeting or day at the office, it typically involves swapping out flip flops for flats & ripped jeans for leggings.

I know, it kinda blows, but I really put in a valiant effort to not let my location effect what I wear. Does that mean I often stand out like a sore thumb while rocking a fur coat & thigh high boots. Absolutely. Do I care? Not in the least. I actually prefer it. Standing out from the crowd, IMO, is never a bad thing & if I lived in a place like NYC I’d just blend into a sea of stilettos & fur (yawnnnnn).

Which brings to my take on the suit. I’ve been on the search for the perfect tailored set, but since I haven’t yet found it, I whipped up my own version of a suit by pairing my go-to leather moto jacket with my all time fave leather bootcuts (seriously, I live & die for these pants).

Easy, edgy, & all black… right up my alley.
