Ummm yea… so if yesterday’s post didn’t show you how borderline obsessed I am with the 4th of July, this one certainly will. Merica’ pride is going on full force over here at the Fashionlush headquarters… eff yea!! Forever 21 & yours truly teamed up again to make some creative Fourth of July DIY magic. White sneakers are my fave & pretty much a daily staple in my wardrobe, so painting them kind of hurt a teeny tiny bit, BUT the result was so so epic that it doesn’t even matter. Plus, at $12.80… I just got a second pair to wear on the reg.
The best part about this lil’ project… you don’t have to have an artistic bone in your body for it to come out looking amaze. Trust, when it comes to art I am NO Picasso, you honestly couldn’t tell my work from a kindergartner. So, when I do DIY projects that seem like they would require some serious artistic abilities, I find shortcuts to make it as simple & fool-proof as freaking possible. It’s not about perfection, it’s about patriotism. Get crafty my lushes & have fun with it :).
