The Eyeglasses Edit | Find Your Perfect Frames

Flashback to grade school… was there anything worse for a kid than being told they have to show to school with a brand spanking new set of four eyes? Braces were chill, cause you got colorful rubberbands, but eyeglasses were like the plague.

Mind you, I never needed glasses growing up (although I had my fair share of awkward grade school moments- like the huge ass gap in my teeth people asked if I could fit a pencil through- lol!), so I don’t know this FIRST HAND… but I know my friends were not stoked when they found out they needed glasses.

Honestly- I was actually jealous of my glasses wearing friends. To me, it was just another accessory, & I was a 7 year old who definitely appreciated a good accessory.

SO- when I recently found out I was extremely far sighted (whew- those headaches weren’t one of the many horrific ailments webMD tried to convince me of), I was actually pretty thrilled.

Eyeglasses are so in right now, so I couldn’t wait to shop for my perfect frames, & the fact I actually need to wear them is even cooler. No headaches, cool glasses, crispy vision (I literally told the eye doctor “everything looks so HD”)… I am a happy girl.

Plus, I am pretty confident wearing glasses just makes me more productive.

As for MY frames, I opted for these bad ass gold aviators from Leisure Society. Allll of the Terry Richardson feels. The eyeglass trends are just so on point lately, since fashion girls everywhere can’t seem to get enough of them.
