Shopping for my Dad… I think I’d rather spend the day at the dentist. Not kidding. Dad’s either have all the weird gadgets they want, don’t want anything, or just return everything you get them anyways without telling you so they don’t hurt your feelings.
It’s not an easy task, & since I am not a guy or a Dad, I enlisted my savvy boyfriend (also not a Dad, but a much-needed male perspective) to help curate an awesome Father’s Day Gift Guide. There is a gift idea for all types of Dad’s out there & I think I can safely say you won’t even need to include a gift receipt. Which is always a win.

1. Ficks Hangover Preventative Cocktail ($16): I don’t know about you guys, but as I’ve gotten older, I suffer way harder from a hangover. I only can imagine how Dad;s feel after watching the game with their friends?! JK, but really- who doesn’t love a good ole’ hangover prevention. Plus, it comes in ginger (<—my fave!!).
2. Soapstone Chess Set ($39.99): Not only is a game of chess a great brain trainer, but it can also be a great way for you & your Dad to get in some QT.
3. Wooden Portable Charger ($60): Cause what if you get a flat & you’re Dad’s phone is dead? Not happening.
4. Aster & Bay Men’s Grooming Oil ($20): All natural can be used on the hair/scalp/face & beard. Great for the bearded Dad, or the one who just likes to pamper himself
5. New Look Tribal Print Wallet ($13.32): Obviously, this is the present for the cool Dad (or atleast one who tries to be?).
6. Father’s Day Card ($5): I have the type of Dad who says every year “I just want a card, please!!!”. He’s not just saying that either. Totally serious. To this day, he still says the best present I got him was a can opener, the totally un-fancy kind too. Clearly he is a simple guy. I usually still get him something though, & I am pretty certain it gets thrown in a drawer or returned. Atleast I try.
7. Corkcicle Chillsner Set ($19.96): What is it with Dad’s and cold beers, or is that a stereotype? Either way, these Corkcicles are pretty awesome.
8. Toddy Cold Brew Coffee System ($34.95): Maybe this is for my Dad, maybe I secretly want to test it out before I get one of my own (oops). Really though, no one wants hot coffee in the summer time. All about the iced…
9. I don’t get why books ever got such a bad name in the world of gift-giving? I personally love getting & giving books. If your Dad knows what’s up he will really appreciate a cool book, my personal faves: My Cool Caravan ($24.95) & The Kings Country Distillery Guide to Urban Moonshining: How to Make and Drink Whiskey ($26).
10. Laptop Case w/ straps ($26.68): If your Dad’s got a lil’ swag (& a laptop), I think he will be pretty stoked on this laptop case.
