When it comes to my DIY-style, there certainly are those times that I block off a whole day & go balls to the walls on a project, but in reality– it’s pretty rare I’ve got that sort of spare time lying around. As much as I love getting in the creative “zone”, I do not love the idea of spending my entire Sunday knee deep in paint/super glue. No thanks.
I am just one of those people, & this isn’t something I’m proud of, that prefers instant results in everything I do (hence why the gym has never worked for me- oops.). So, when I start a project, I am not keen on waiting 5 days for it to actually be finished.
Some example’s of quick & easy DIY projects I’ve done in the past:
+ Turning two necklaces into a rad foot-piece.
+ Adding cut-outs to my sneaks.
+ Throwing some daisy trim on an old tank.
+ Studding up a clutch.
+ Embellishing some cheap-o sunnies.
+ Painting the soles of a pair of heels w/ nail polish.
My best DIY projects actually come out of last minute decisions “i.e. these jeans would look way better as shorts & w/ some rips in ’em”.
This bikini is the perfect example (top found here // bottom found here). I was on the search for a new swimsuit for Summer, & this one was amaze!! I love the bright colors, the sexy tie-up back, the cheeky cut & the flattering shape of the top.
Cute, right? Yes! Even cuter with some added suede fringe trim? Absolutelyyyyy.

P.S. It looks extra fab under a baggy white tank & some ripped denim cut-offs on your way to the beach.
very good. how much
