Halloween is AROUND the corner, & no- I don’t have a costume yet, of course. I am the biggest procrastinator when it comes to putting together a costume & am def NOT one of those people who gets their costume custom made months before Halloween.
That said, I always come through with something pretty epic & this year I am v excited about these costume concepts I have come up with *pats self on back*! All the below looks have shipping times in mind, so you can order now & still get them in time, & most importantly- they are EASY/affordable to put together.
My costume is on this list as well, but that’s a surprise for now- also, I loved these costume concepts SO much… I might be having a two costume moment this year. IS THAT CHILL OR NAH? We will see, shop my top 5 EASY & COOL AF Halloween Costumes for 2019 below!
01. Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet
Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet is one of my FAVORITE movies of all time & this is a costume I have wanted to do for YEARS. THEN Jules on Euphoria did it, & I was even more obsessed with the whole concept. Not only is it such a chic look & the perfect couple’s costume, but it’s EASY to put together for both him & her which is major bonus points for me! SHOP THE COSTUME:
♡ ROMEO’S COSTUME: Forever 21 ‘Romeo & Juliet Shirt’, a white undershirt, & a long silver necklace
♡ JULIET’S COSTUME: white wrap around dress, fluffy angel wings, silver cross necklace, & some simple heels (the dress will probably cover them!)
02. Badass Baddie Winkle
I have a bookmark folder on Instagram with Halloween ideas (it’s year long running list) & it’s pretty much filled with photos/looks of Baddie Winkle that I’d love to recreate. BADDIE WINKLE is the ultimate badass & I’ve got two fun ways to you could go about this FUN costume. SHOP THE COSTUME:
♡ STONED CHEERLEADER BADDIE: Dolls Kill ‘High Spirited’ Cheerleader, weed leaf hair ribbon, thigh high socks, black platform boots, metal rim small green sunglasses
♡ DIMEPIECE BADDIE: white one piece + iron on letters (couldn’t find exact bodysuit- but you can always make your own! My would say Fashionlush, obviously!), fun rhinestone sunglasses, skin color tights, gold hoop earrings, hot pink lipstick, layered necklaces (tons of layered jewelry in general), a towel wrapped around your head, & a Miller Light for your prop!
03. A Bratz Doll
OBSESSED WITH this costume idea. I thought I knew what I wanted to be for sure, until I started making this little collage & now I’m highly considering dropping everything & being a Bratz doll. I basically have everything in my closet already, just have to brush up on my makeup skills a tad. LOL. SHOP THE COSTUME:

04. Romy & Michele’s Highschool Reunion
Another one of my favorite movies! The LOOKS featured in Romy & Michele’s highschool reunion were nothing short of iconic & after people commented “Romy & Michele” vibes on the latest picture of Lauryn & I from her baby shower, I knew I had to feature this is a costume because it would be SO AESTHETICALLY cool for a BFF moment. ♡ ROMY’S COSTUME: baby blue metallic dress, silver glittery platforms, silver rhinestone heart choker, blue quilted mini purse, & wear your hair with a heavy side part, slicked back & a lot of pink glittery eyeshadow!
♡ MICHELE’S COSTUME: pink metallic dress (I’d buy a pink fur boa & glue it to the hem, the dress is perfect but the fur is a tad weak!), pink fluffy shoes, thick rhinestone choker, pink ombre glitter mini purse, & wear your hair in a half up high pony & carry along some post it notes!
05.Spring Breakers
This is definitely not on the top of my list when it comes to fave movies, but I think how BAD it was is what makes this moving pretty f*cking amazing- the BEST bad movie of all time. The outfits are fun & great for a group costume, plus you’re wearing a mask which saves you time from having to beat your face. SHOP THE COSTUME:
