Spring Denim: The Cropped Kick Flare

kickflare12

Hey girl hey! I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like I blinked & now it’s almost Friday. Not complaining, cause this girl needs a serious computer break (my eyes are hurting & hand keeps falling asleep– probably not a good thing…).

ANYWAYS, today I am sharing a denim trend I am personally loving for Spring- the cropped kick flare.

Not gonna lie, at first I was pretty weary of this style. All I could think about were the horrific capri pants I used to rock in 7th grade like nobodies business (usually paired with one of those rhinestoned ribbed tees #WOOF!).

I decided just recently to give the whole cropped flare vibe a chance, mainly because I found the Free People ones with a raw hem. I love me a good raw hem! I think what made these really great though is the fit. When it comes to this style jean they can’t be too tight (that’d be very middle school-ish) or too loose (that’d be sloppy). So yes, the ones I am rocking are justttt right.

I love this style of pant mainly because it gives the shoe a whole lot of attention- I opted for some seventies inspired platforms to kinda go with the boho feels of the flowy top, but they’d also look great with some rad tall ankle boots and/or crisp white sneakers.

So… are you guys feeling the kick flare? CHIME in  & let me know your thoughts!! Read on to shop my total look + check out some of my top favorite kick flares I am currently eyeing (these black ones are majorrrr!!).  x, E
