Last weekend Zack & I took my 2 year old nephew to Build-a-Bear… & it was my first time in a mall in YEARS. I typically avoid going to the mall at all costs because the parking situation, the overwhelming amount of choices, the people at kiosk’s trying to curl my hair, the crowds of people, dressing rooms… it all gives me anxiety.

But I went anyways cause I’m a good aunt & HOLY SHIT- malls are definitely not what they used to be. The maps are now touch screen devices (like huge ass iPhones), the Hot Dog on a Stick was replaced with a juice bar, & iPhone charging stations all over the place. It was a real trip.

ANYWAYS- I had to do a Forever 21 walk through on our way out. It’s really the only store that doesn’t give me severe anxiety… which is ODD cause it’s probably the most clusterfuck store in the mall. When I enter a F21 store I get into the zone. I don’t ever try stuff on & I can get through the store in 30 minutes. This time I had my nephew, which made it tougher to do my thing, but I managed to snag a few oversized mens shirts (always) & a TON OF NECKLACES.

I was really shocked over the jewelry situation at Forever 21. The price was low as it always is at F21, but the quality was on point. I have had my fair share of cheap shit from Forever, but this was impressive. I am totally down with saving a few bucks when it comes to my necklaces because I go through them quick.

My Dad would tell you guys I am just not good of taking care of my stuff, which is not fully true. I just am forgetful & leave my necklaces on ALL the time (showering, swimming, sleeping, working out, etc.). Plus, taking off/putting on necklaces with fake nails is the MOST frustrating thing ever.

Plus, as a bday present to myself I bought a very expensive necklace thinking that maybe it wouldn’t tarnish like some of my other less expensive necklaces… & within two weeks, the chain had tarnished. Then I saw an almost identical one at Forever 21. I could have bought 10 of them & it still would have only been a fraction of what I paid *eyeroll emoji*.

I love layering necklaces, which makes budget necklaces even more fun, I can get a bunch of them at once. I picked up 7 super rad necklaces from Forever 21 & for under $35 total I am be set with necklaces for a while now (or atleast until they tarnish & the necklace trends change and I want new ones anyways!).
