Ahh! So so so so excited.
Today I got a lovely lil’ package at my door stop from my babes at Forever 21 & I had no idea what it was gonna be. My mom was here working on a lil DIY project of her own (crafting is in my genes) & so we gathered around to open it up. BOOM- filled with some fab Keith Haring & Jean Michel Basquiat pieces. Two of my all time fave artists. So winning.
My parents were actually the ones who got me into art. They were always buying the funkiest pieces & were huge huge huge Haring fans (read more about his work here). Sooo… I’ve kinda always been drawn to contemporary art. So, even though I most typically stay away from prints/graphics & opt for B&W everything- I like to mix things up & get weird. This stuff is right up my alley.
Why buy art when you can wear it? Ehh… I take that back. Buy both, cause good art is always a home decor staple.
