Not that I am any expert, but there are three very important tips I have that are crucial for anyone traveling::
1. You must must must download the Pinbox app on your iPhone. It’s seriously a tourists BFF. You can basically “drop a pin” on all the locations you want to visit on a map. It gets you there in a cinch, shows you what is near where (efficiency is key!), & helps you keep track of everything you want to see.
2. Carry around external chargers (my faves found here & here)!! I say this mainly cause I keep forgetting & having a dead phone while out & about on an adventure is not phone. Not only can I not access my Pinbox app, but I also miss out on lots of good pictures.
3. If you choose to wear heels, keep a pair of comfy flats in your backpack. Trust me on this one. On this particular day, that spare pair of flats came majorly in handy… but we will get to that shortly.
Which brings me to the shoes, ahhhhh I never ever knew how much I adored white shoes… with a sexy point…. with an ankle strap. They are seriously so chic, crisp, & on point. That is until you walk in them for more than 1 hour, & you will soon find yourself wanting to chuck them off the castles moat straight into the water (kidding… kinda).
Which is when a pair of flats come in handy. Whip those bad boys out, make a quick shoe switch, & continue on admiring the sites to be seen. Trust me, everything is so much prettier sans blisters on your feet.

Assuming that you guys have visited the blog before, I am sure you may be a bit taken aback by this all white everything look since I am typically an all black everything kinda lady.
The thing is, I am also a fan of dressing for the occasion. No matter how much I love sky high platforms, I am not gonna wear them to a 3 year olds birthday party. In the same regard, as much as I love a dark lippy & head to toe black, It just didn’t seem fitting or appropriate for a trip to the Rosenborg Castle.
White on the other hand- totally fitting. Especially when paired with a rad floral kimono that ironically matched the castles rose gardens + an epic pair of ankle strap stark white heels.
+ Get the Look: white ripped skinny jeans || floral kimono- similar || the perfect white tank || white ankle strap heels- similar || black and gold backpack || round Ray-Ban sunnies || gold bangles || dainty gold body chain- similar || gold & pearl ring- similar ++
++ On our way home we made a quick detour to get some fresh mint leaf hot tea at our fave coffee shop in CPH- The Living Room. I will definitely be making this with the leaves from my mint bush when I get home, permitting that my garden is still alive (fingers crossed on that one). Obsessed. ++
It’s awesome to see the change up. You always look effortlessly cool, but this is very refreshing. Beauty!
